PURCH Pathway
PURCH (Population-based Urban & Rural Community Health) pathway – a unique program for UMass Chan Medical School students. Going beyond traditional medical education, the program teaches medical students about health equity, social determinants of health, and care for vulnerable populations through immersive learning. Of particular relevance for NESHCo, attendees will learn how language in a medical setting directly impacts patient care.

Baystate Health Wellness on Wheels (WOW) Bus - The WOW bus brings preventive health services directly to low-to-moderate income and at-risk patients across western Massachusetts. The community-centered hub offers health screenings and education while fostering important connections.
