Become the source for health information

If you make a habit of supplying health information people can use on a timely basis -- and in interesting ways -- you can make your web page more of a routine "destination" for people. Here are two examples: a Backus Hospital video at www.backushospital.org/multimedia that focuses on the expected high mosquito population this year, and a "news story" about food borne illnesses at www.backushospital.org, playing off of the e.coli scare in Europe. Both feature hospital "experts" -- an infection control nurse and a registered dietitian and both were done in a matter of a couple hours on Tuesday. We also promoted these on our facebook page.
